Janakpur Bolts were crowned the first Nepal Premier League champions after a five-wicket win over Sudurpaschim Royals in the final at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on 21 December 2024.
Sudurpaschim Royals, who had topped the league table, posted 184 for 9 batting first. The Bolts chased the target down in 19.2 overs, with Lahiru Milantha's 87 earning him the Player of the Final award. It capped a superb tournament for the Sri Lankan, who finished as the leading run-scorer with 293 runs.
Saif Zaib of the Royals was named Player of the Series for his 275 runs and 12 wickets.
